A Celtic Pilgrimage to Ireland - Two Spots Open English

Dublin, Ireland

July 3 - July 16, 2017

A Celtic Pilgrimage to Ireland

Pilgrimage Leaders: Loyd Allen and Beth Richardson

Join us and a small group of friends on a Celtic Pilgrimage to Ireland, the Emerald Isle. Our journey will focus on sacred Christian Celtic sites associated with Sts. Patrick, Brigid, Kevin, and Columba. We will seek union with their Celtic spirit in the storied landscapes from Dublin on the east coast to Glendalough, from Kildare to Downpatrick, and from Kells Monastery to Glencolmbkille on the west coast. Ours will be a particular kind of journey in pace, practice, and purpose. There will be time for physical exercise, personal reflection, public worship, and Sabbath rest. Pilgrims are persons who take a journey into the outer world to sacred places seeking transformation of the inner geography of their souls. We will leave home to find Home and to return renewed.

NOTE: Full participation in the pilgrimage assumes average good health and the ability to walk two or three miles unassisted.

(*Previous Academy participants will receive preferred status in registration and may bring a guest who has not attended an Academy for Spiritual Formation.)
